Creative Marketing and Sales Strategist with ...
... This is the twentieth time I've written this text. To summarize my 16 years of professional creative consultant, sales, AdTech, Marketing, PR, content, event, production, social media, team lead life - short generalist - in five to eight sentences is hard. Please not another contrived resp. generic text about how cool one is, what one stands for and what one has achieved. Here are some (un)important - but honest - facts about my working life so far:
The respective agencies and I have been blamed by the PR council three times, I should be sued twice (not by the client!), 80% of my work was hooey, worked a lot of overtime and did not always win at awards.
And to sell Germany's top creatives the importance of emotional data and its positive effects on advertising impact and performance and thus penetrate their "territory", Sisyphos was partly overshadowed.
Nevertheless, really beautiful campaigns have been created. Despite this, I have very little grey hair. But still, I love my "job" and what I do. And that with the people/my teams in the agencies/companies for the clients I have been allowed to work with during my career.
If I have learned anything after my change from creative agency to AdTech industry relying solely on AI is no better than listening to your gut. Human evaluations of AI results provide the best balance to move people emotionally. And: transparent as well as emotional data is sexy. Used correctly, they increase advertising impact and efficiency.
Best of all: I am very grateful for all impressions and experiences. Nothing works without great teams and clients. The selected cases hopefully reflect this.
So: I keep the twenty-first text in the digital drawer. Doesn't get better. :)
